Made it to Lauterbrunnen with NO navigation problems at all. Had LOTS of rain through Belgium, Luxembourg and France, but it cleared up in Switzerland and was a pleasant eveing.
Our apartment for the next 6 days is a beautiful place that is absolutely SPOTLESS! The boys have a ladder to a loft with a skylight and a big window opening to the rear of the deep valley we are in. It is even spacious - and has wood floors, ceilings.
Here is the day in photos:

While traveling through France, we spent some time on the Alsace Wine Route. It was a very beautiful drive with old walled towns.

In Bergheim this tower on the old wall was built in 1300.

Street scene in Bergheim - lots of timbered houses.

Typical window in Bergheim.

View from the back windows of our house in Lauterbrunnen Switzerland.

I'm with you..... although catching up on your week of travel at one time due to computer issues. Your photos are incredible & the accounts are great to read, Randy! Thanks so much for sharing your adventures with us!! Beautiful Switzerland! Since Cathie & I walked this morn, I'm thinking of your back, Kathy. I trust that you are really able to enjoy the hiking & movement free of pain. (Our time in the Hamptons last week was wonderfully relaxing & beautiful.) Savor each moment!!
