We made it through some museums in Rothenburg this morning and then traveled on towards Cologne airport this afternoon - delayed of course on those German Autobahns.
Our last day in Europe includes more travel - this time from Rothenburg to Koln. Spent the morning at the Criminal Museum in Rothenburg where we learned that we are glad we live today and not in Medevil times (not that we have any criminal aspirations.) Exhibits of all kinds of torture instruments and anything to do with crime long ago. Then on to the Toy Museum which was a much lighter experience.
More awards (based only on our personal experience.) Award for highest cost of consuming liquids - goes to Germany. Not only do you pay the equivalent of $3.50 for a coffee or $3.00 for a soda, you have to pay $0.75 to use the bathroom on the autobahn to give the liquid back to them. There are many other awards we could give too - you'll just have to ask us when we return.
Here is a short summary of the day in photos:

The start of the Criminal Museum - we find these hooligans.

A little diarama of different punishments in medevil times.

The sign for the Toy Museum from the window. Rothenburg is filled with these kinds of signs.

Toys everywhere of course.
